USBR 76 in Missouri connects Illinois in the east to Kansas in the west. U.S. Bicycle Route (USBR) 76 is signed throughout Missouri. Be aware that signs can be damaged, stolen, or otherwise missing so you can never rely totally on following signs.
The route mostly follows the Adventure Cycling TransAmerica Trai. It passes through the Ozark Mountains, which are blanketed by hardwoods and pines, small farms, and numerous rivers.
In western Missouri, the route intersects the 35-mile Frisco Highline Trail in the small town of Walnut Grove.
